Tank Bot MINDSTORMS® EV3 Advanced Robotics

Experience the cutting edge of technology with the introduction of LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3 Advanced Robotics. Students will be captivated as they incorporate the newest generation of motors, sensors and software by programming using a Scratch based drag-and-drop programming tool to send commands directly into the intelligent brick.

Tank Follower

Train your Tank Bot to follow your beacon. Using two large motors, code your Tank Bot to move each motors at different speed and power to follow a beacon from a remote control.

The Tank Bot uses infrared sensor to detect the beacon. When a beacon is detected the Tank approaches the beacon. If the beacon moves a different direction, the Tank Bot changes direction to move to the beacon.

Remote Control Tank

Using the same remote control beacon, instruct your Tank to move in a forward or reverse direction. To move your Tank Bot to the left, instruct you Tank to move the right motor, to move your Tank Bot to the right, instruct your Tank Bot to move the left motor.
