Wenona l Years K-3 | Spectacular World of Sports After School Workshop | Term 1 | Monday 5 February - Monday 8 April | 3pm - 4.20pm

The program is only open to Wenona School students. The workshops will be held Monday afternoons from 3pm - 4.20pm.  This is a nine week program with workshops commencing on Monday 5 February and will run until Monday 8 April (Inclusive).  Please note there is no workshop on Easter Monday (1 April)

BRICKS 4 KIDZ After School workshops build on the universal popularity of LEGO® bricks to deliver a high quality of educational play.  Come and join in all the fun of our BRICKS 4 KIDZ® After School Workshops! There are limited spaces so book EARLY to avoid disappointment.  BRICKS 4 KIDZ®  workshops build on the universal popularity of LEGO® bricks to deliver a high quality of educational play. Our one hour classes explore architecture, engineering and technology concepts.  Students will participate in term-long sessions constructing a new model each week. 

In Term One we will be focusing on the Spectacular World of Sports: Explore sports ranging from gymnastics to biking to mini-golf! This unit is a great way to get “sporty” kids building and get LEGO® fans interested in sports. Some lessons focus on the importance of physical fitness and different aspects of fitness, such as stamina and strength. Other lessons describe the mechanics of the sport, such as the physics involved in golf and the components of a stationary bike. But the best part for the students is the way the models move and the fun they have playing with them after they’re built.
